your files are on your hd so they are safe.

constantly upgrading a computer can be expensive.

Yes you can upgrade anything and everything in an about your computer. though be warned it can be expensive. Is it possible to upgrade a pc?you can but id just be cheaper to buy a new PC, or actually id go with a new mac, there more expensive but theyll last you like 5 years rather than a PC whichll last you a year then its out of dateIs it possible to upgrade a pc?All of your files are on your hard drive. You can upgrade all other components without messing up your files. You won't want to upgrade your motherboard most likely, because if you do, chances are you'll have to upgrade many other things too. Also, if you decide to upgrade certain components, (cpu / video card mainly) you'll want to make sure they're compatible with your motherboard. Is it possible to upgrade a pc?Well, it all depends on the specific hardware. But if you buy a gaming PC, you usually have a certain amount of room for upgrades. The graphics card is the easiest thing to change out of the things you listed; as long as your motherboard has an appropriate expansion slot, you can change it. The CPU is a bit harder to put in and it must match up with the mother board, but it can be replaced. The motherboard would be the most complicated as you would pretty much have to take apart and rebuild your entire system and ensure that everything is compatible with your motherboard (generally with computers, you choose the motherboard first and then choose things to be compatible with it), but it is possible. Unless you are replacing the hard drive, you shouldn't lose your files. Is it possible to upgrade a pc?Desktops are easy to change, or upgrade.

When you buy a desktop PC you can %26quot;divide%26quot; it into pieces like : motherboard, memory, hard drive, microprocessor, video card (it can come built in in the motherboard, and/or you can buy one yourself, like a 9800GTX), sound card (usually comes built in and with good quality), and any extra card u want to buy to add to ur computer...

Nowadays most users just buy the video card as an %26quot;extra%26quot; card to add to the motherboard.

So, yes... you can upgrade it easy.

Anyways, before upgrading, you have to be sure that the %26quot;thing%26quot; you are gonna buy it is compatible with what you have.

For instance, you cannot buy just any microprocessor, it has to be compatible with the motherboard you have. Also the memory cards, if you have an old motherboard you might find you can't add it DDR3 memories... for instance.

So, before upgrading, check out what you have, and how do you want to upgrade it.

Usually, when upgrading a 5 year old computer, you might want to buy all new memories, motherboard and microprocessor.

I hope it helps :)Is it possible to upgrade a pc?In short, the answer is yes. If you are referring to a Desktop PC, the upgrades you can perform are almost endless. Anything from newer faster hard drivers, to more efficient RAM, or graphics cards, power supplies, and ultimately, motherboards. As far as RAM, power supplies, graphics cards, and CD/DVD drives are concerned, they won't effect your operating system to severely.

With each new piece of hardware that you install, you will need files called %26quot;drivers%26quot;. These files allow your operating system to communicate with, and effectively use the hardware that you have installed. You will find that some drivers come pre-installed on your system, where others will have to be installed via a CD that will come with what you purchase, or through the manufacturer's website online.

When it comes to upgrading your motherboard, processor, or hard drive, you are almost always at a disadvantage when it comes to maintaining your operating system. If you're looking into upgrading those components fairly often, you're going to want to look into backing up your files before following through with these kind of updates.

As long as you follow through with proper safety procedures, your personal files will virtually never be at risk of being erased. If you find that you can't boot your operating system as a result of a hardware change, either switch back to your old device, and back-up your files, or try to troubleshoot it then.Is it possible to upgrade a pc?You can upgrade almost everything! all your data is on your hard drive so you dont have to worry about loseing anything. A video card upgrade is one of the most common upgrades but it's worth every penny. A cpu upgrade is great also for a faster computer. Add some RAM while your at it, your computer wouldn't lag anymore lol. hope that helps!
