Computer stopped working after changing the cpu from 2.00ghz to 3.00ghz!?!?!?
I set my cpu frequency from 2.00ghz to 3.00ghz, and now my computer just locks up (have to manually turn off by switch) and it won't show any picture on screen. so i can't access bios to turn it off. i have a winfast mobo with an amd dual cpu. any ideas on how to reset back to normal? Take the ram out and try booting. YOu need to get to the bios. Of course, that's likely not to happen, you have a no post problem due to a toasted processor. IF... you are lucky enough to get the Bios to post, change everything back to default.
