How can i tell what socket CPU is?

I currently have an AMD Sempron 3400+ 2.01 GHz CPU in my PC but i may need to change my motherboard. But i dont know what socket it uses. Does anyone know? Is there a way i can find out (without opening the case)?How can i tell what socket CPU is?CPU-Z.
