i have a Dell laptop.i change the power managment to home/desktop ans change it back to portable /laptop.but when i get Mycopmuter properties the cpu usage was 100%.for example the cpu usage was 585 Mhz after the chaning it was 1.4 GHz.i change the advanced settings to no page file but it didnt work completly.somtimes is 585Mhz and somtimes is 1.4GHz.plz Help?How to change the cpu usage in in win XP?CPU usage is the total used by running programs, and is not a setting.
